Drone Demonstration

Hello everyone,

I have scheduled two sessions with our tech guy, Mr. Colin Cheung, who is an expert in playing drone. Please sign up one of the sessions if you are interested in how drone works (no mandatory).

Here is a video he took with his drone. In some parts, the done follows his bike (you can see there is a person riding bike) and shoot the video!

Some notes about making posts

Hello everyone,
Here are some notes for making posts.

1. Don't forget to label your post for easy access.

2. You can upload your photos and then include them into the post, or simply embed them by using HTML if the photos are online. Other options are using Google Album Archive or URL link.

3. For embedding pictures or Slideshare, change the mode from Compose to HTML, and then put the embed code. When you switch back to Compose mode, you will be able to see how the files are displayed.

Welcome to New Media Ecology! This is a course about business ecosystem of the media industry. The study of the relationships between different parties in the economic interplay becomes more and more complicated when moving towards the new media era. The role of originator, publishers, aggregators, syndicator, distributors, advertisers, consumers are all playing different and important role to make the whole system work. New technology provides a possibility of new consumer behaviors, which will derive new business model. Impact of new technology keeps the media industry ever evolving. This course will teach a number of theories and strategic frameworks for students to analyze the new media industry, and understand how it will transform, innovate and disrupt the existing and future businesses.
